メカモ･インチウァーム（シャクトリムシ）は、リンク機構を縦横無尽に使い、動物の動きを再現し、物を動かすということなどを学べます。。
１つのモーターだけの動力で、前脚・後脚・中心脚を動かし、前後・回転の動きを制御します。特別な道具は不要。誰でも簡単に実験を開始できます。自身で組み合わせて実験することによって、リンク機構の仕組みが学べます。
